Hello everyone. My name is Shu and I am thrilled to be your Japanese teacher.
Currently, I am residing in the Philippines, where I have been teaching Japanese. I am delighted to say that many of my students have successfully secured opportunities to work and live in Japan after learning Japanese from me. Witnessing their growth and achievements brings me immense joy and fulfillment.
Prior to my teaching career, I worked at a City Hall in Japan. I had the privilege of supporting numerous foreigners with their tax matters and health insurance. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the challenges faced by non-Japanese individuals living in Japan. I developed a strong empathy for their needs and a genuine desire to help them integrate into Japanese society.
Throughout my journey, I have had the pleasure of interacting with a diverse range of foreigners, both in Japan and the Philippines. I have noticed that some of them were remarkably proficient in Japanese, while others struggled to communicate in the language. It became evident to me that those who spoke Japanese fluently had prior experience studying at Japanese schools or taking online Japanese classes. This realization highlighted the importance of learning Japanese from native Japanese tutors.
