Hi everyone! I am Satoko, a Japanese native from Sapporo, Hokkaido.

I am here to help you achieve your goals by providing a supportive and motivating learning environment! 

I have lived in different countries for the past 23 years, and have raised my 5 Italian-Japanese children in different language settings. Living in a multicultural/multilingual life, I am open-minded to different values, ideas, and people. I am curious about other cultures and good at finding the common rather than focusing on the differences among people. I also understand the difficulties and struggles to learn a new language because I am living through the experience, too!

3 years ONLINE and in-person experience in teaching Japanese.
Worked as a teacher in a Japanese heritage language school in Canada.
Experience in working with children who have multilingual (Japanese and other languages) background.

Teaching Japanese

I am very flexible in teaching style. I can do lessons based on textbooks and conversation. If you have more specific needs (JLPT, Business, writing, etc) we talk and decide what to do.
I have used major Japanese textbooks such as GENKI, Minna no nihongo, JLPT somatome, Kanzenmaster, and business textbooks.
