Message to leaners

Hello. I am Shizuko.
I am from a town near Kyoto, famous for “Ninjas”. My father was a Kimono designer and dyer as well as a Karate teacher. I spent 4 years in Kyoto when I was a college student majoring in Japanese literature. And now I live in Osaka, a city with warm-hearted people and delicious local cuisine.

With my French husband and son, we usually speak two languages, and that helps me to understand that learning a new language is very difficult especially when we use a completely different writing system. And even after living 20 years abroad, like my husband, we still have lots of things to discover, both about language and culture! I would be very happy to share the pleasure of learning my language with you.
My policy is to use mostly Japanese during my lessons, because I think it''s the best way to improve my students’ language skill.

Bonjour.

Lessons that carefully take your profile into account

After interviewing each individual, a curriculum will be made, tailored to the area you live in, your occupation, native language, and goals. The lessons offered to you will be unique.

Support by a qualified teacher in Japanese language education

Using my education, as well as my knowledge and experience in linguistics, I support each person depending on their language level. In addition, by deepening your understanding of Japanese culture and way of life, the lessons will stir up even more interest in the Japanese language.

In-person and online lessons available

Even while out, you can have a convenient in-person lesson at a cafe, or you can have online lessons at home or outside. I try to take advantage of each lesson, so you can get the same learning effect in either format.
