Message to leaners

Hajimemashite! I''m Fumie.

Do you sometimes know what you want to say, but struggle to express it naturally in Japanese?

In my lessons, I help you find natural ways to say what you really mean.

We use Japanese as much as possible, with English support whenever you need it.

Whether you''re learning Japanese for everyday life, travel, or simply because you enjoy it, I''d love to hear about your goals and help you find a way to learn that works for you.

Hobby/Interest

I was born and raised in Osaka and have lived in Tokyo for over 20 years.

I love traveling around Japan and discovering how everyday life, food, and traditions differ from place to place.
I also enjoy showing visitors around Tokyo as a local guide.

When I''m at home, I enjoy reading books and manga.
My favorite foods are sushi and takoyaki.

What about you? I''d love to hear about your interests and what made you want to learn Japanese.

Teaching Japanese

My lessons are based on your level, interests, and goals.

We start with real conversation and explore the grammar, vocabulary, and expressions that come up along the way.

Sometimes, what you say may be grammatically correct but not quite what you mean. We can explore different ways to express your thoughts together.

We also create shared lesson notes from our conversations, so you can review what you''ve learned anytime.

You''re always welcome to bring your own questions and topics to our lessons.
