日本語教師歴約36年。インドネシア、マレーシア、オーストラリア、ベトナムでの勤務経験あり。現在は地元の大学の留学生別科や日本語教師養成講座で講師をするかたわら、オンラインで日本語のレッスンをしています。高校生と大学生を対象に小論文も教えています。

Teaching Japanese

生徒さんのニーズに合わせて、教え方を変えますが、基本的に日本語のみで教えます。ビギナーの方でどうしても英語を使ってほしい人には英語も使います。アカデミックやビジネス目的、法律の日本語を得意としています。短期間で成果をあげなければならないコースでコーディネータをしていたこともあるので、JLPTの準備などでいいアドバイスができると思います。

Toyota-sensei is very experienced, highly professional, and willing to “go the extra mile” to help the student understand a confusing Japanese phrase or idiom. Although her English is proficient, she helps me keep the class in Japanese as much as possible, and she is very good at figuring out what I want to say but can’t quite put together on my own.
