Hello! I’m Yuki, a Japanese teacher.

I was also once a student of Japanese. When I was little, I spent 5 years growing up in the UK. At the time, I was most comfortable speaking English, and when I eventually returned to Japan, I experienced the struggle of learning and using Japanese in my daily life.

Having once been in your shoes, I’m confident that I can help you improve your language skills and have fun while doing it! Let’s give it our all!

みなさん、はじめまして！
日本語教師のゆきです！

実は私は昔、みなさんと同じ日本語を学ぶ学習者でした。というのも、小さい時にイギリスに5年間住んでいたことがあります。その時は日本語よりも英語の方が得意で、日本に帰ってからは、不慣れな日本語での生活に苦労しながら日本語を学んだ経験があります。
そんな私だからこそ、日本語を学んでいるみなさんの気持ちに寄り添いながら、日本語力を高めるお手伝いができると思っています。

一緒に楽しみながら日本語を学んでいきましょう！

Hobby/Interest

My two biggest hobbies are manga and sightseeing!
Not to brag, but if a manga is famous, I’ve probably read it. If you’re a fellow manga fan, let me know what you’ve been reading!
As for sightseeing, I’ve done a lot both in Japan and abroad. In fact, I’ve visited over 30 countries! But it’s still not enough—I want to see even more!

旅行は、国内旅行も海外旅行もどちらも好きで、海外旅行では30ヵ国以上の国に行ったことがあります。これからもたくさんの国に行きたいと思っています。

Teaching Japanese

I have experience teaching Japanese to a wide variety of age groups and nationalities, covering every level from beginner to advanced.
Likewise, I’ve supported many students in more specific areas, such as improving conversation skills or preparing for the JLPT.
I can also speak English, and am open to using it occasionally during lessons if it helps. Of course, I’m experienced with an immersive Japanese-only teaching style as well.

No matter where you are in your Japanese learning journey, I’d love the chance to support you and show just how fun improving your skills can be!

これまでに、初級から上級まで日本語のレベルも国籍も年齢も違う様々な学習者に日本語を教えてきました。
会話力向上やJLPT対策など、日本語力向上のサポートならなんでも経験があります。
英語も話せるので、英語を使いながら教えることもできます。もちろん日本語だけでおしえることもできますよ。

学習者のみなさんが楽しみながら学ぶことで、日本語力を高められるよう全力でサポートしていきます！
